What is Hospice and Who is Eligible?
Hospice is a medical and philosophical approach to care. Eligibility is determined once your physician has predicted a life expectancy of six months or less, or at the time curative treatment is no longer the patient’s choice or option.
Being diagnosed with a life-limiting illness such as cancer, heart disease, lung or kidney disease can be overwhelming. Allow Morris View to provide you and your family with the compassionate care and support you deserve.
We collaborate with licensed hospice agencies to provide medical, emotional, and spiritual support to our residents and their families. The team caregivers and our staff help manage pain and symptoms, enabling patients to live as comfortable as possible. The interdisciplinary team is comprised of physicians, nurses, social workers, companions, and clergy.
